Six steps, about 12 weeks.
The timeline depends on how much material you have and how quickly you review. Here is the typical course.

01. Framing
A conversation with your publishing director: what your book has to say, to whom, and why you.

03. Revealing the book
Together we draw out the thread running through your material and build the table of contents. You approve it.

04. Guided writing
You write, with an editor beside you, from your own material. Never from scratch, never in your place.
Chapter by chapter, you write from your transcribed and organised material. Your editor suggests a thread, asks the right questions, reads and proposes; you rework and you decide. Every page starts from your words.

05. Review & approval
Three editorial passes: substance, style, typography. Nothing moves forward without your approval.
